I have this problem, too!

Inappropriate? If you're using Firefox 2 on mac, I know that it is not great. Firefox 3 resolves a lot of issues with mac and firefox not being a good fit. What exactly was annoying you?
-
Inappropriate?I have know problems with Firefox 2.0.014 or 3b5 <-just><-rules>m a beta tester.........

I’m amused

Linux.......................Mark -
Whats a Mac?? -
You can run Vista on Windows now?! And to think I'm still running Mac-Vista... -
Inappropriate?I'm amused that while now we know you are running a "super machine", we still don't know what your "known problems" are. You see, Win-Vista-Person, when a problem is "known", other people "know" about it. I hope my explanation hasn't been too complicated for you. But you have two choices, either go away, very far away, and yes, stop using firefox, stop trolling for stupid. Or, acting like a non-retard, explain yourself in as many words as you can muster with your three brain cells exactly what your problems are so the people at Mozilla can give a proper reply.
I’m sad there is no angry face

Inappropriate?Yes, I was using Firefox 2 on Mac. The main problem I was having was that some (not all) drop-down boxes were not working. I would click them and the list box would not appear; I could still make selections using initial letters or the arrow keys, but that was it.

Do you have some sites that I could test where this problem was occurring? -
Unfortunately, the only one that's doing it that I can come up with at the moment is internal to my company. However, I've seen it happen on Yahoo before... interestingly enough, it's not happening now... -
Inappropriate? When I use FF3 it locks up. Varies after I start from 5 to 15 minutes. Right now I am using FF3 and IE if FF3 locksup. I have not tried going back to FF2. I have tried uninstalling FF3 and reinstalling from a new download of FF3 but still get the same lockup.
Locks up=I can't go to another website, FF says the page is loading but never loads. I close FF and try to reopen but I get a dialog box that says that FF is already running. I CTRL-ALT-DEL to get tasks and stop FF but I get no response. So I try to shut windows down but nothing happens. I have manually power off the computer.
I am using Vista. Was using FF2 before. -
Please start a new thread for this, your problem is related to Vista and lockups. This thread is about zarniwoop's mac problem with drop down boxes. -
