Inappropriate?Hi my name is myles7897, I volunteer giving support at Live Chat, http://support.mozilla.com/chat.
The most common types of crashes are caused by add-ons. Please try safe mode. Safe Mode is a special way of running Firefox that temporarily disables extensions, themes and toolbar changes. If your problem stops while in this mode, we can find the item that is causing the trouble.
Full safe mode instructions are at http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode.
If safe mode doesn't fix the problem try this article, http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Firefox....
I understand that if crashes are random, it is going to be hard to troubleshoot in safe mode. If this is the case just supply me with the add-ons that you have installed and I'll see what I can do.

Firefox support can be found in the form of a knowledge base, you can ask a question at support.mozilla.com, visit our chat room at irc.mozilla.org #firefox, or just post here at Get Satisfaction.
I’m hopefull that we can solve this problem.

Inappropriate?I believe that it might be me inadvertently hitting the close button, when another window is on top of Firefox. The "Warn me if closing multiple tabs" option is checked but does not seem to work on my laptop or desktop. Both are running XP Pro SP3.
The addons I am running are Better Gmail2, Download Statusbar, GMarks, GoogleGears, IE Tab, New Tab Homepage, PIC Lens and Tab Catalog, Any suggestions you can offer would be appreciated.
Thanks
