Actually, Stephanie, Mozilla Labs is working on Weave (Lifehacker reviewed it), which will be a great replacement for Browser Sync and alpha versions are available now. However you probably included that when you said it wasn't "complete". Hopefully it will be at least useful enough for gabopagan and others to get by in the meantime.

Inappropriate?There are some alternatives, but none of them are complete. The Google Toolbar provides some capability to synchronize bookmarks, and there are bookmark plugins for several services. Unfortunately, there's not a solution for Firefox 3 yet (that I'm aware of) that can sync all your settings, but there are many solutions for bookmarks at least.
Check http://addons.mozilla.org for some possible solutions - maybe one or more of them will do what you want. -

Inappropriate?I love weave too. I think it has more potential than Browser Sync had. But there are a lot of people I know who still love and miss Browser Sync.
Now that Google has made Browser Sync open source, some developer + Browser Sync fan can make it to work with Firefox 3.

Yep. This is a great thing - more alternatives in the works for this, and keeping a useful project alive... Plus... there's an opportunity now for other projects to learn from their code. I think that's a win for everyone. -
