Unit Conversion Command

What about a command that converts imperial measurements to metric and vice versa? This could be extended to all sorts of different unit conversions, but to keep it simple and easy to use it might be best to confine it to distance, speed and mass measurements.

Might be rather difficult, but it'd be great if it was context sensitive too so you could convert a whole selection or page.
