Tags Overview for each folder
I often use the tag function in Thunderbird.
Bug I remark that it is very easy to lose the overview on the tagged mails. After a couple of day, my tagged mail is in a folder with other mails, I have forget it.
I tryed first to use the function "save a search as folder" but it hasn't helps my a lot.
See want I meen here:
I had recently a new idea to have a better follow up on the tagged mails. Like we have a counter on unread mails, it is probably possible to put a "important mails", "to-dos mails", ... counter in place.

Inappropriate?Yeah, I think we can do a much better job of giving people an overview of what's in a folder.
Showing tag counts is maybe possible, but I think it's a bit cryptic to just use color, and the folder pane is too narrow to show tag names.
One idea could to use the area that normally shows the message body, and use it when someone is selecting a folder, to describe the contents of the folder. We could show the tag distribution (with quick jumping off points to show all of the messages w/ particular tags), "important" messages somehow, etc.
What other folder-level information do people think would be useful to show?

Actually, the selection of a folder let show the last selcted mail of the folder what is , I think, a good stuff.

- attachment counter
- Tagged as ... for each tag
- "search in this folder" form
