Inappropriate?yeah that would be nice, and in order not to cheat, there should be necessity of watching for example 75% of episode to mark it as seen. -
Inappropriate?I think this one is hard to implement. The majority of people watches shows on the television, from streaming sites or downloaded from the Internet and therefor don't have that show correctly tagged nor the information is accessible from within an app... Unless you buy your TV Shows on iTunes (which already does a nice job organizing them), I can't see a easy implementation for this.
It would've been nice though...

Inappropriate?Well, a plugin is impossible to develop because there are so many ways people watch their shows: on tv, o dvd, on their playstations, on their popcorn hour, using boxee, xbmc, etc, etc, etc...
So, instead of us developing a plugin for every possible situation, we will develop an API (something that everyone can pick up and use to delevop their own plugins). :)
