More traffic for the exhibition hall.
Put the exhibition hall between the people and the sessions. If they have to go through the exhibition portion to get to sessions it will get the exhibitors much more attention.

Inappropriate?Good intention, but entirely dependent on the layout of the facility, and you'd need wider aisles to accomodate the traffic. -
Inappropriate?We're looking at ways to increase traffic in the hall next year. We'll likely be holding more events, setting up a bigger lounge inside, serving coffee in there, etc.

Serving coffee in there is a good idea. As a panel organizer, I really, really wanted my panelists to sell a lot of books - both to give them a nice "thank you" for coming and because I believe strongly in the content of their books and I want more bloggers to read them. -
