Inappropriate?Hi Lindvall,
Right now, RPM allows you to specify threshold limits on a per-application (cluster) basis, and also a set of default thresholds for all of your hosts. Let's say you have 2 hosts with 1GB of RAM (a and b) and 3 hosts with 2 GB of ram (x, y and z). You could define a cluster for a+b and set thresholds at 600 and 800mb for that set, and then define another cluster for x+y+z and set different threshold values for that set. Make sense?
Shoot me an email at cirne [at] newrelic [dot] com if you'd like met to help you with your specific app/environment. Thanks!
I’m happy

Inappropriate?I think the biggest thing is that the "Hosts" section only has one threshold that can be specified, which means that either I have to crank it up to match the highest numbers and not see things change yellow/red, or have things be yellow/red during normal operation.
That pretty much makes the thresholds for "Hosts" useless.
I’m raising issues
