Nick Anderson leads by example

In a day where sports stars, new and old, are being questioned about civility, it was nice to see Nick Anderson among the stars out for the Rays/Yankees game on Friday. Standing in line for popcorn and Pepsi, not drugs and alcohol. Walking and talking with anyone and everyone, stopping to have a laugh and taking photos sitting among the regular crowd instead of hiding in a box seat ignoring the fans that pay them millions to work their craft. As a professional photographer, I see the "other side" of people as soon as the lens cap is on. As a volunteer at the games, to fund-raise for our own kids sports leagues, we occasionally get a glimpse of a good one at Tropicana Field. Dick Vitale, Hulk Hogan, Bubba the Love Sponge, and today... Nick Anderson. Not afraid to hang with the common folk! No questions of civility here. Hats off Nick... class act. Thank you for reminded us that there are a few that care about the little people.
