Problems with the tvGuide app (v2.4)
I downloaded the tvGuide app tonight (v2.4, and found numerous problems: it only includes the options for adding some channels to the channel list, none of the premium / cable channels, and then, out of the the 5 it will allow, one doesn't download any data. Not happy so far.

Inappropriate?Which area are you looking at? Are you aware you can select channels from more than one 'country' ? Some sections only contain the regional programmes, and then there will be another section for the nationwide options.

Inappropriate?Thanks for your reply! I've been keeping a watch on it to see if it's fixed or not.
I do see that the cable / premium channels can be added by selecting another Region. That solves that problem.
There still exists, though, the problems where not all of the program is downloaded, or has multiple versions, and I don't know if there's any way to tell it to do a refresh to resync. I will explain in more detail:
1. I am in Sydney, Australia, and currently have ABC 1, 7, 9, 10 and SBS configured. It is now 8:51pm, and here's what I see on the main panel:
* Channels ABC 1, 9, 10 and SBS show the current and upcoming programs, so that's fine
* However, for Channel 7, the up & coming programs are blank. That regularly happens. So there's one error there.
2. If I then click on the channel 7 program on the main menu, to dig down into more detail, then everything is listed twice, e.g., Toon Disney at 9:30am has two listings
Those two types of errors keep on happening with Channel 7, and that's what cause me to report a problem.
I don't see any way of telling the program to refresh, which I thought I might try, to see if that fixes those two problems. Closing the program and doing some other things on the iPhone and coming back to it doesn't seem to cause a re-load either.
I'm not sure how to get past this.
Actually before sending this I thought I'd try one more thing. While looking at the detail version of the Channel 7 program, I hit the right arrow to look at tomorrow's program, and then back to today's program, then when I hit back to go back to the listing of all of the channels and their current and soon programs, and now Channel 7 is showing something - tomorrow's program! (and that's even though the last detail I had a look at was today's program!) ... so there's another bug.
And then, too, if I switch for vertical to horizontal, it totally crashes the program. As mentioned above, I've only got 5 channels selected currently.
Quite a few bugs (4 different ones that I've seen)!

Inappropriate?There is a 2.5 version that is awaiting approval at the store that fixes the double-up issue, and adds a couple of new features. When that turns up, give things another go.... In the meantime, if you were to delete the app, and buy it again ( You don't get charged a 2nd time ) It would get rid of the bad records in the database that causes the problem.

Inappropriate?OK, I uninstalled the program, then re-loaded it, with those same 5 channels. Again, after a data update, on the channel listing page there is no content showing for Channel 7, and when I look at the detailed list for Channel 7, there are no more duplicates, but also there is no detail for anything after 7:30pm (a new problem). The same if I forward to tomorrow's data, i.e. nothing after 7:30pm. And then again if I go back to the Channel's listing, Channel 7 is showing tomorrow morning's data.
So... this fixed one out of 4 problems, but showed up a new one, so we're still on 4 bugs.
