Any idea how I can hack the appearance of Outbrain's appearance? Wanna shrink the stars and toggle the recommendations on and off.

AS for the recommendations, you can log-in to your outbrain dashboard -> Manage blogs -> settings and turn the recommendations off.
As for the outbrain appearance, we do have customization capabilities, only it requires knowledge in:
- Handling PNG files for changing the stars appearance
- Simple JavaScript for changing the language/terminology
- More advanced JavaScript for anything more then the above
