how can you change the code in our blogs?
Yesterday I asked your staff a question, posting my blog's url. And you were able to see the code and change it, even if I didn't post my passwords. How could you do that?

Inappropriate?Hi angelica,
Good question. Actually, anyone can see the code for your site (and any site on the web) by using the browser's "View Page Source" option (just right click on a page). This is an important debugging tool that we use to see what is might be wrong. We are able to fix things remotely by changing settings on the back end. When the widget loads on your page, it calls our servers to see if there are any custom settings for your site and uses whatever we prescribe. Depending on what the problem is, we can sometime resolve issues on peoples site this way without site owner having to do anything.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Kate

Inappropriate?Angelica- just to clarify -
We can't actually change the code on your pages. As Kate mentioned, the only thing we can change are the widget's settings which are stored on our server. Even though it seems like the result is a chance in your web pages, that is only because the widget you installed asks our servers for your settings. We have no access to your server or your pages and cannot change anything there.
I hope that clarifies this!
I’m hopeful
