Doesn't update unless I leave room or Reload
I noticed a few times I will send an update to CF and when I get home to a browser based client my messages won't be there. If I manually do a "Reload" it shows up, or if I leave the room in Ember it shows up too.

Inappropriate?That's because Campfire only shows messages from one client at a time. This is a limitation of the Campfire service and not a limitation of Ember.
If you have multiple clients logged into the same room, messages you type will only show up in the client that you typed them in. For instance, if you type in a message in Ember it will not show up in your browser until you reload or leave and re-enter the room in the browser. Vice versa, if you type a message in your browser it will not show up in Ember unless you leave and re-enter the room in Ember.

Inappropriate?All Campfire clients, even web browsers on desktop machines, appear to lose messages at times, or to change the order of two lines submitted. Your browser window (and Ember) tend to show what you've sent... refreshing the browser will show you what the other person is likely to see.
It would be nice, then, if Ember's display had a "refresh" button, to save us having to hit the iPhone main button and coming back in to Ember to refresh the display.1 Comment Add a comment
