Coda isn't playing well with others' working copies
When creating a new site, Coda doesn't recognize that existing folders are SVN working copies. Thus, Coda's source control only works with working copies that have been checked out by Coda.
I sometimes use Cornerstone to check out working copies only to find I have to trash them and use Coda to do it. Is this on purpose?

Inappropriate? In general Coda should recognize working copies checked out by other apps.
The *likely* culprit here is that Cornerstone is set to use its built-in Subversion v1.5.x libraries. By default Coda uses the Subversion libraries installed by Mac OS. The Mac OS Subversion libraries are v1.4.x and are incompatible with v1.5.x working copies.
You can do one of two workarounds:
- Set Cornerstone to use Subversion v1.4.x and re-checkout your working copies.
- Download Subversion v1.5.x (http://is.gd/ej1a) and install it on your system, then point Coda to the newly installed svn binary in the "Files" section of the Coda preferences.
If this doesn't fix the problem or doesn't make any sense please contact me via email and I'll be happy to debug the issue with you.
