Implement familiar shortcut keys for formatting copy quickly
It would be really useful for writing copy if you implemented familiar shortcut keys for formatting copy quickly such as highlighting text and applying <strong> with Apple+B or <em> with Apple+I (similar to Textmate)

Inappropriate?We're partway there. In the Clips window, you can make a clip that wraps text by using the placeholder (*) character.
For example, a clip to bold something would be: <b>*</b>
What's missing is the ability to assign a keyboard shortcut to that clip. It's on our to-do list.
The particular keyboard shortcuts you mentioned are reserved for other features. For example, Cmd-I is used to Get Info on a file, just like in the Finder.
