Locally changed files should be added to publish list
While changing a file locally, it should be added to the publish list automatically. For exemple if I change an image with Photoshop after save it is not added to the publish list, very annoying.

Inappropriate? If you open a file through Coda by right-clicking the file in the source list and selecting "Edit in...", then saving changes to the file will cause the it to be added to Coda's publish list.
-
Inappropriate?Ha ok, thanks didn't know it. But I still believe that Coda should detect external changes too.
-
Inappropriate?Agree! Sometimes I've got files opened externally, and make multiple changes-save-more changes-save... and need to manually select in Coda and publish each time.
-
Inappropriate?Let me add to this as well. Coda is a great app overall, but the one thing I really miss from Dreamweaver is that when I uploaded an html file (for example), it looks to see if any related files had been editted (I guess by comparing at the last editted dates?). Then it would publish those files too.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate? That's one thing I don't want in Coda.
It used to drive me mad in DW.
I'd change something that was related, but still wanted to stay with the old version for a bit.
Then DW would think it knew what I wanted better than I did, and upload it.
So then you didn't know what had been uploaded and what hadn't.
Coda is brilliant as it is, (apart from code collapse!).

Inappropriate? But of course, like every feature in every application, it should be configurable in the prefs.
I'd also like an option so that when i svn update, updated files are NOT marked for publishing. -
Inappropriate? This seems like a no brainer. I often update a project in, say SVN. Then I have to muddle through the entire project tree marking files for publishing.
