Multiple placeholders in Clips
Clips are great, but I think they could be really enhanced by allowing multiple placeholders within them, so you could "tab" from one to the next and fill in the content. This would be a great time saver, allowing user to trigger customizable snippets.
For example (simple and really uninteresting, but you get the idea), a Clip triggered by typing link+TAB could be something like the following:
<a href="*1*" title="*2*" />*3*</a>
After the trigger, the caret would be at *1* ready to fill in the url, pressing TAB again will move directly to the title placeholder, and another TAB to fill in the text.
The interface for this could be somewhat similar to that of Find and Replace, with the numbers, and keep the asterisk as a selection placeholder.
Cheers!

Inappropriate?TextMate has the snippets thing *down*. These make a huge difference in development time when using something like Symfony.
I just bought Coda an hour ago because they're actually releasing, though (sorry, Allan, I get the "it's ready when it's ready" thing, but actually shipping something really gives customers a sense of life and progress). -
Inappropriate?Yes please I cannot find a way to use the Clips productively without this feature.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?I'd love to see this implemented as well. Would make me a lot more productive! This missing feature is pretty much the only thing which stops me from removing textmate ;)
