Sort files and folders by type
Would be nice if we could sort the files and folders by type + alphabet, I've always hated the default mac sorting of files in finder and Coda doesn't allow us to change it.

Inappropriate?I can't believe no one else has replied to this. It drives me insane that you can't sort folders by type + alphabet. I did find a way to fix it on leopard however by editing a file in finder.app but for coda agh...

Inappropriate?Absolutely agree. It would be great to sort not only folders and files, but functions in the Code Navigator.
I'm sure that Custom Sorting would increase my productivity :)

Inappropriate?Just throwing down my 2 cents. Sorting: the file Local / Remote file browser on the left defaults to sort alphabetically.. and there's no way to change it. This is ridiculous. I can't sort by date? I can't even sort at all..
In order to clean up a directory I was just working in, I need to sort by date. So this means I have to switch over to Expandrive to get a decent finder view.
Then in order to fold code, I have to switch over to TextMate.
I think Coda does an amazing job of creating a unified IDE style ui, but within each mini-app are critical shortcomings. What I really wish, is that the energy at Panic went into the Coda interface wrapper, and into building api-type connectors to other apps like CSS-Edit, TextMate, Expandrive, and Terminal.
Probly a long shot, but had to get it on the table.

Inappropriate? This is my only major problem with Coda. It would be extremely helpful to sort by type, especially when working on a larger site
I’m lost in the file browser

Inappropriate? This seems like a basic feature for a program working with many files. It should not be too difficult to implement too!

Inappropriate? Is there already a solution for this problem? On this way I can't work efficient with this tool...
I’m disappointed....

Inappropriate?I emailed them and I just got a generic "Not currently, but this is something we'll look into." response. So I don't expect this implemented anytime soon.

Inappropriate?...please

Inappropriate?Adam, welcome to the bush leagues. I still use coda sometimes, but expandrive is the answer for this issue.
