My Account / Settings feedback
Bunch of feedback:
• Doesn't seem to have an option to display / change my userid.
• add titles to the <a> tags which use Javascript (eg: <a title="My Password" href="javascript:accountform..."></a>
• The location dropdown is insane. Maybe tier it: pick state then offer list of localities within the state? Alternately: enter a zip code and then narrow localities based on zip code.
• Location drop down is US only. Not sure anywhere else on the site explicitly says this is US only (I created a new account and didn't see it in the account creation flow. And no, I didn't read the ToS)
• Do you really need to use drop downs for the day of month and year for the birthday? Do you foresee many 108 year olds using the site? I'm not saying it's out of the question
• I looked for Brooklyn under "New York - Brooklyn". Even if behind the scenes you’re collapsing the boroughs into one locality, maybe list them twice? Use the same value in the <option> so it gets stored in the db your preferred way?
• Consider having the "Your profile has been updated" fade out after a period of time (if it's supposed to, it's not on Safari 3.1.2)
• Suggest flipping the <title> string around so it's "My Account | Path 101 ..."
Unrelated to My account but found while I was digging around: got a 403 error when loading the About Path 101 page (http://www.path101.com/about/) on this URL: http://s3.amazonaws.com/slideshare-au...
Can you add a generic "Path 101" product to Get Satisfaction (I had to pick either RGP or Personality Quiz, neither of which is accurate)</title></option>

Inappropriate?Wow, this is great. Thanks for all the detailed feedback. Some of these we are already considering (zip code for location), others are polishing that we need to get to (javascript title tags, page title tweaks, changing userid) and will hopefully implement sooner rather than later.
Looks like the 403 error on the about page was a slideshare and/or S3 hiccup which seems to have uh self-healed.
I just added a "General" Path 101 product to Get Satisfaction.
Thanks for taking the time to document all these and share your feedback.
