Counting comments for pages using API
I was tasked to count the comments for all pages in a wiki as a gauge for discussion levels. Is there a way to extract this using the API?

Inappropriate? If you wish to wait, I can direct someone who may know this to this page. You will get a much quicker response using the Help link at the top of your workspace.
You can also submit the question to our API group.

Thanks for asking.

Inappropriate? Thanks Clif, I'll wait :) I don't think this feature is available in the API yet but just in case I missed out anything.

Inappropriate?Unfortunately, there is nothing in the API that interacts with comments at all. You may be able to write a script which visits each page and counts the comment elements which appear, but that's probably the closest you could get to automating the process.
Sorry for the inconvenience. -
Inappropriate?Thanks Peter!
