With exception of collaborating, what are major differences?
Can someone direct me to a post that explains the difference/pros/cons between a capable blog (maybe wordpress) and a wiki? I understand one major diff-the collaboration on the wiki. With exception to that....

Inappropriate?I ran a brief search on Google and got quite a few interesting results:

One of the main things is that a blog is done like a journal, and the content is present linearly in time, typically with the most recent entries at the top. They are also mostly individual endeavors, and old articles are usually not updated.
A wiki, on the other hand, is typically a collaborative tool that is content-driven and categorized according to that content, rather than by the passage of time. Each page is typically about some topic, and over time, that page evolves to become more developed.
