pixelperfect replied on June 02, 2009 23:15 to the idea "Tracker is very slow when there are a large number of accepted stories" in Pivotal Labs:
The project I'm working on has a total of 3235 stories, on a different thread somebody suggested exporting the backlog to a new project, but that isn't really a sustainable solution.
Lazy loading those old stories, if it would make our project more responsive, would be very helpful.
Obviously, we aren't about to stop using Tracker ...please make the pinwheel go away.

drag item to date on calendarWhen I drag a todo item to a date on the calendar, it looks like something happens, but nothing does. I would like it if it redated the todo to the day I dragged to.

Simple is Beautifulgootodo really eases my mind seeing what needs to be done by day!
I have a lot of feature requests and observations on how gootodo could be improved but overall I love the core concept of a date-aware todo list that is easy to add to from email.

iPhone app for gootodojust a simple app that shows me my list for the day, let's me easily view todo items and details, check things off, and add new items.
Ideally this would keep me logged in on my phone if I wanted and it would cache some things so that I wouldn't have to wait on the often slow connection I have thanks to everybody in San Francisco having an iPhone. :)

move selected stories to releasejust thought I would add this request while we are dragging 50 stories that just got imported one-by-one
pixelperfect replied on May 18, 2009 17:49 to the problem "Emails are too wordy" in Pivotal Labs:
Hello,
please take the "Hello," out of notification emails ... I know this sounds like I'm asking you to make Tracker less friendly and I'm sorry if it sounds like that.
I would prefer to read the facts without opening the email, saving me a little bit of time that would add up to a lot of time so that I can spend more time making more stories.

when does today start?gootodo doesn't know what day it is ... unless the day starts at some time other than midnight

Can mailplane check facebook mail too?it would be nice to consolidate my inboxes and be able to reply without logging into facebook.
pixelperfect shared an idea in Pivotal Labs on May 07, 2009 18:35:
pause a started storyTo preface this request, my stories are a little bigger and more nebulous than typical tracker stories since I'm doing design instead of development.
I often find that I have a lot of progress on a story but then priorities change and I need to set it aside for a while. It's "started" but not really in progress, it's effectively "paused"
It would be very nice to have the differentiation between not-yet-started and started-but-not-in-progress
