A few questions concerning adding comics & magazines

Why won't Delicious Library add comic books and magazines to my library when scaned? They have a UPC, is it because Amazon doesn't carry them? If so, then can I add another search source besides Amazon?

I wish that Pownce had an option to send notes to a temporary or "on the fly" set. Some times I want to send notes to a few people but not to make a permanent set for that group of friends friends.

You could use the "channels" feature to allow your students to help one another with questions or share information with the rest of your class class, but, as Thor said, a wiki, or a traditional website with an assignments download page, is a better option.

Thanks Thor, I can understand that they are busy. I just wish they would say that they aren't adding new accounts right now (if it is true) on their website.

Is there anyway to be notified of every response to a post?

It seems like the desktop app and the Pownce stream only shows the first response form an individual to a response, but not the second time that same person responds.

I signed up after an hour or so. I like the ability to send larger files and I'm not a big fan of advertisement, not that the adds in Pownce are very distractive, so the 20 dollars a year seemed very reasonable to me.

I have tried many of the existing social websites and they always felt bloated or their site design was hideous. Pownce is so refreshingly simple and, one might say, elegant. It's social website for grownups.

I gladly paid the upgrade and will most likely keep paying.

Um... thanks for the quote from the site. However, since I did send in my email address as I stated above I am familiar with how to request an invitation. I was simply wondering how long it took to receive said invitation. Does anyone know the average turn around time on request to invite?
