wally replied on September 06, 2009 12:23 to the idea "Facebook Friend Updates in the People Bar" in Flock:
This is the reason my mom doesn't like using flock for the social reason.
My Dad's side is quite chatty, and I got her facebook page a lot quieter when we hid all those people.
When I showed her that she didn't need to open a new page to check FB, it could just be in the sidebar, she was interested finally into facebook.
until I saw all the relatives clogging the bar.
I've been using Flock for a couple of years now...but i am back to Firefox for the 3.5
I just can't handle how slow flock is with my addons and the lack of friends select.
ill be back. I here rumors of chrome...please wait until they get some decent extension thing going on.

wally asked a question in Flock on May 04, 2009 21:01:
Realtime is where it is @Flock needs to find a way to go real-time in the sidebar. I am really starting to count on tweetdeck/etc. If anything a timer to say when the next refresh will be. How long is the refresh anyway?
A comment on the idea "reconsider HD video." in vReveal:
I was really suprised that it was fixing stuff realtime on my not so powerful tablet. but like others said, I can wait for cleaning HD. The only thing that still blows everything away (elements, pinnacle,etc..) is deshaker plugin with virtualdub...but my god, to process an avchd file thru it is a nightmare....but once you deshake something its hard not to go back and process everything..it just makes home video much more easier to watch...so good luck and will check back!!
p.s.u got an RSS for a blog so new stuff u do will show up in my googlereader? – wally, on March 28, 2009 04:07

wally asked a question in Seesmic on May 03, 2008 05:21:
@so&so on twitter. is the wrong person getting notified on twitter? When I reply to someone on seesmic it says @so&so on twitter. Isn't twitter then sending this message to someone named so&so? I mean, my twitter name is not the same as my seesmic. so when someone replies to me isnt going to someone named wally on twitter?
wally replied on October 20, 2007 05:19 to the question "Resolution importance and screen size" in Crowdstorm:
It's really all about how far it's gonna be from the bed or what'ver
if it's beyond the foot of the bed i think u really won't see a difference. I would definitely look more for contrast and such since u will probably be watching it a lot at night. Goto the store and view it. if the aisle is to narrow turn the TV so you can view it from the distance u need. Ask for help of course!
