doubtful, I've never even heard of status.net so this would need to be reworked to connect with whatever API they have.

lol you guys are killing me. the twitbin follow ad only shows to people who haven't logged in, and are in public stream.

we're working on options for removing the ads.

can you post a screenshot? I had never heard of fission so not sure i can troubleshoot it. we'll look into it though

I am going to have to look into this, I personally never used all in one sidebar, but need to see if I can check their source to see where we conflict. Wasn't aware this was still happening though.

Hey Carol, I don't think we can add this in any time soon, we have a long list of features we're planning, and this had never crossed our minds before.

So unfortunately twitkit has one upped us on this feature. Please let me know when the article comes out. If you have any other questions for your article, you can email us twitbin[at]twitbin.com

yeah but if you really wanted to see those people's tweets, wouldn't you just follow them all?
i'm still a bit confused on the functionality, but i think i understand what it does.

What does the followers feed do? I installed twitkit, checked it out, and i couldn't understand what it was meant to do.

Hi David,
You have to go to twitter.com and do that there. Or you should get an email with a special link in it. We don't handle those functions in twitbin.

Z-Vet, we tried this and people got confused (in our test group), they didn't notice their links had opened, and kept clicking endlessly. If you are showing intent or desire to see a link, people tend to prefer it to be made apparent.

d'oh, we know, we've been meaning to add it. we've been busy adding features, and forgot to upload a new version w/support for 3.5.X.

We're adding some stuff, should be ready this weekend (so we can have it live by monday.

A comment on the question "Advertise on twitbin!" in Twitbin:

well actually the point there isn't to get followers with that ad, it was more to get everyone accustomed to seeing an ad. Following @twitbin is a smart idea if you use twitbin though, as it lets us inform you of important changes going on w/twitbin you otherwise wouldn't see.

I would love to hear your suggestions for monetizing twitbin though. Its expensive developing software like this. – Brian Breslin, on April 20, 2009 01:42
