We have been experiencing a much larger load on the service lately which will explain some performance reduction. We're actually migrating to a new server infrastructure in a week or so which should result in a big improvement of performance. We're also constantly looking to improve the efficiency of certain areas of FreeAgent which we know are not as optimal as they could be.

To enable OpenID support you have to first log into your account and edit the user you'd like to add OpenID support for. When you save the user, you'll be redirected to your OpenID provider to validate the OpenID, then redirected back to FreeAgent at which point you can save the user.

Did you already follow this process? If so we'll need to take a closer look.

This issue usually occurs when there isn't enough data in the QIF file to determine the date format, which in the world of QIF isn't standardised*. We plan on providing a way of allowing the user to correct this, we just haven't found the time to implement it as yet.

Would it be possible for you to download transactions from a larger date range (FreeAgent will handle the duplicates)? This usually resolves the problem. Alternatively, you can edit the file and change the date formats to yyyy-mm-dd, or you can send it over to support@freeagentcentral.com and we'll do this for you.

So you'd basically like another field which would appear on an invoice in the same section as your address, telephone number, website and so on?

One workaround here is to add this information to the 'Additional Information' field on each invoice. We'll be introducing improvements in this area in the future which will make it easier to specify default 'additional information' text.

Sorry for the rather extensive delay in replying. We're keen to improve this area and one of our goals is to introduce cashflow forecasting/visualisation which should give you a much better picture of what you owe and what you might owe in the future.

No dates for this right now, but it's on our longer-term road map.

I would recommend creating a separate invoice (assigned to the project in question) for each milestone of the project.
