I'd like to have a Sandy web application for the iphone. I think this would be a great addition. What are the chances of something like this coming to fruition?

Agreed. There are certain reminders that I have that are work-related so an email notification is fine because I'm in front of my desk already. However, if I need to pick up dinner on the way home, a text would be nice. I like your idea of adding @sms.
