Sort of. I believe you are talking about the super-tough hypalon bottom, which is still on the blogger but much less prominent. The original Blogger had it wrap around the entire bottom of the bag, sort of like a bathtub. The Spring 2009 version has it only on the very bottom, so it shouldn't touch your pants.

Are you talking about in our Bag Builder? In that case it means would you normally prefer to wear the bag on the left or right shoulder. Typically a right handed person will wear the bag hanging on their left shoulder so that the strap runs across their chest from the left shoulder to the right hip, and the adjustable cam buckle is on the right side of the bag for easy adjustability. How about the Coder? It isn't quite that small but it is pretty compact, with the small holding a laptop no bigger than 9x13x1.5.
I don't know of any plans to make an ultra-small pc bag but we do tally up all suggestions and we will include yours.

I would go with the XL if you haven't made a decision already. I don't believe the Large will fit the Pro 15. You can return it w/in 30 days if it doesn't work for you.

I think you mean with a shoulder strap? (cross strap being an accessory that comes with our messenger styles). Yes although the hacker and outtawhack are convertibles that have both shoulder strap and double-strap (backpack) style.

If you are still in the market, I would go with our site dims to be safe. We update ours seasonally as necessary. Better to be a touch conservative, we've learned.
