annilita replied on January 05, 2009 16:59 to the question "Can the laptop sleeve be cut out from laptop messenger without damaging bag?" in Timbuk2:
why yes you can. I have done this myself. Just cut along the webbing at the top of the attachment to the bag, then just pull the sleeve off of the velcro. If you are not sure, just call customer service and we can walk you through the procedure. You will have velcro in your bag, but it will not be a bother.

Thanks Chris for the fabulous complement. Timbuk2 prides itself on the great quality of our bags and i can tell you that i have a messenger bag that is over 10 years old and looks killer. The vertical aspect of the bag is what many people love, especially if you have to be on a bus, train etc. We also have the hacker which is a hybrid messenger/backpack. Here it is on our site:

Thanks again and tell your friends how great we are.

annilita replied on June 25, 2008 23:10 to the question "A commute with space for gym clothes, that isn't XL." in Timbuk2:
The commute daypack is a small daypack that could carry shoes and not a lot of clothes. I would not recommend this bag if you carry that many items everyday. The Track Daypack and Underground are bigger daypacks. I would recommend our Lex Pack because it is a cavernous bag which could hold that many items without the bag being tight.

Hi Sean,
I have looked up your order and it has shipped, but there is a problem with UPS. I will call them tomorrow and will send you an email with the answer. We had an offsite warehouse conversion and had computer problems which could not ship orders out. You will get an email tomorrow. Again, I am sorry.

The Lula is a good small backpack for females. I know it is small if you are carrying a lot of items, but if it is not too many books or accessories it is good. Here is the link:

Marcus, thanks so much for the complmentary note. We definitely have a great time at Timbuk2. My ping pong skills have improved two fold since I started working here. The best thing is that the product speaks for itself and I know I love to work for a company that when I tell people that our bags rock and you will never be disappointed, you won't. Thanks again, and you should come to San Francisco and get a tour.
