Enrico Foschi replied on April 21, 2009 19:47 to the question "How do I export links, sets, and groups?" in Agglom:
Hi Brother Stein,
in your profile:
http://www.agglom.com/user/byronsnake
you can see two little icons on the bottom part of your photos. The first one is the RSS feed for your own sets. The direct URL is this:
http://www.agglom.com/userFeeds/byron...
Then, if you want to get an RSS of a specific set, let's say of this one:
http://www.agglom.com/set/64333/agglo...
you can change the keyword "set" to "agglomfeed" in your URL:
http://www.agglom.com/agglomfeed/6433...
Does this answer your question?
Enrico Foschi replied on April 18, 2009 13:11 to the question "How do I export links, sets, and groups?" in Agglom:
Hi Brother Stein,
there is no specific feature to export links, sets and groups. Though, you can get RSS feeds for all of them (what is an RSS feed? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS_(file_format) ).
In each set and group page, in any feed-enabled browser (ie: Internet Explorer or Firefox), you should see an active Feed icon (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia...). Clicking on it, you would be able to see all the links / sets in RSS format.
Hope this answers your question
Enrico

Hi dragyn, we really do apologize for this issue. While we will be working on it, you can create a temporary first set of links at:
http://www.agglom.com/insert.aspx
and register an account using the registration form at the bottom of the page.
In the meanwhile, may I ask you which resolution are you using?
Thanks, keep up updated please if the temporary workaround fixes the issue

A comment on the problem "No Confirmation e-mail...etc." in Agglom:
Hi "g". In the mail we specified to reply (using the email client) including the whole text, so that we can verify that your email address was the one you provided.
Your "gb" profile has now been activated, can you try to login?
BTW, GetSatisfaction.com is a completely different companies that provides a platform to report issues and to communicate with company staff. The user base is completely different, so your profile "g" in GetSatisfaction.com doesn't match the one in Agglom.com. – Enrico Foschi, on February 28, 2009 10:14

Hi Amy0,
glad to read your feedback.
Analyzing your requests
1 - Move links to other sets: this feature will soon be a work in progress, but we are not able yet to give you a timeline on it
2 - Ability to tag links: this is the first request of this type, would be interesting to know what other users think about it. We would like to ask you: don't you think that adding the possibility to tag single links will add another layer of complexity to the whole process / logic? At least, this is our main concern but of course we may be wrong.
3 - importing links: currently we only support link import via RSS feeds. Del.icio.us generates RSS feeds that you can easily import in any Agglom set. Going forward we will support other kind of imports and implement improve the general user experience on them (ie: as you mentioned, preventing link duplications)
4- Sub sets: to avoid the complexity of having sub-sets, we decided to create the Group feature. You can create any Group based on your interests, keep it public or private and aggregate specific sets in them. Would this be enough for your requirements?
Thanks for your feedback,
Enrico Foschi
Enrico Foschi replied on January 27, 2009 19:02 to the question "Agglomerator V.2" in Agglom:
Hi Peter,
as you noticed, recently we have reached an auto-sustainability financial situation.
This ensures that the thousands of users that use our services will not loose their data like happens on many social networks nowadays, that after few months / years are not able anymore to sustain expenses and just shut down.
To achieve this big goal, we needed to balance our time in managing advertising, feature development and IT support.
I would really doubt that there is a social network that would satisfy all the needs from all the single users or all the small group of users out there. If there is, either they have tons of invested money or they are going to end up soon. If we did spend time on satisfying every single users, we would probably have failed.
As any respectable company, we collect all the suggestions from all our users and we decide to manage our time on the most requested feature.
Agglomerator V2 may come soon or late, but we are not sure about the release date. We sincerely apologize for any consequence this may have on your or other ones' experience.
By the way, as Agglom becomes bigger and bigger, new developers will join the team and we hope that this will help us to minimize milestones and increase the number of new features developed each month.
Thanks for the understanding

Hi Peter, sorry about the delay in replying, we were out of facilities for few days.
Unfortunately we are not able to give you an estimations about the milestone for Agglomerator V2. Our time is currently mostly spent in supporting users (through Agglom site) and working on Agglom reliability and scalability.
Thanks for the understanding

Enrico Foschi reported a problem in Buxfer on January 04, 2009 15:58:
Budget - filtering by tags - only root tags allowed?Hi there,
When I am filtering a report excluding some tags, it looks like it is excluding only the main tags (the ones with no parent tags), while it is not filtering all the child tags. Is there any work-around / fix for this?
Thanks!
BTW, the service is awesome. I tried Mint and other social network. Buxfer is by far the best one.

Enrico Foschi replied on December 11, 2008 19:09 to the question "Non showed agglomerator Icon!" in Agglom:
Hi loris32.
So, as well as it works on your browser and on your operating system, I guess the issue(s) may be:
- the extension is in conflict with another extension (almost impossible, as well as all the extension code, styles, etc... is under an "agglomerator" namespace - so I doubt other extension used this very same one)
- the icon is correctly displayed, but hidden. In this case, we ask you to perform another last operation: Go to View -> Toolbars -> Customize and click on "Restore Default Set" (this will remove all the non-default icons from your toolbar and put them back on the "Customize Toolbar" list). Then, if there you see the Agglomerator icon (blue / cyan square, with a white "a" inside it), you can try to drag 'n drop it on the left of your address bar.
Please let us know if you solved the issues,
Hope it helps,
Thanks,
Enrico Foschi
