Hi loris32,
this is really weird, because we use Agglomerator on Firefox 3.0.4 as well, but on a Windows machine. BTW, it shouldn't matter.
If you open the Add-ons list, do you see Agglomerator?
If yes, are you sure that actually it is not hidden in the toolbar by some other extra buttons that is pushing it on the right of the screen?
What you can do is to close all Firefox instances than to start it with the option "--profilemanager" . A modal popup should appear and you should be able to create a new profile. You will use it just temporarily, but we will know that it is "clean" and without any add-on installed.
Then, with this new profile, try to install the Agglomerator add-on again ( http://www.agglom.com/agglomerator.xpi ) and then tell us xwhat happens.
Thank you for your patience and please accept our apologies,
Enrico Foschi

Hi johnywhy,
currently Agglom support sets (list of links / resources) and groups (aggregation of sets), but doesn't support sub-sets. What we could do, is to import the bookmarks into sets and, if there is a folder that contains subfolders, then create a set that contains as bookmarks those sets..... how would you feel about that?
Enrico Foschi replied on December 03, 2008 08:26 to the idea "import from spurl xbel" in Agglom:
Hi johnywhy,
thanks for the example. I have 2 questions:
1. Is the xml file file publicly available on the web or do the user always download it (in this way we know if we have to provide users a input text where they enter the URL of the feed, or an upload field where they upload the file)
2. Actually, what would you like to see, after importing the file? A list of folder with bookmarks (to check / uncheck) that, if saved, will create the same structure mapping the folders into sets (ie: Folder A with 10 elements and Folder B with 20 elements will become Set A with 10 elements and Set B with 20 elements)?
Thanks,
Enrico Foschi
Enrico Foschi replied on December 01, 2008 16:24 to the question "RSS Import" in Agglom:
Hi mixedbrains.
Yes, there was and actually there is still now. We have just "hidden" it because we decided to apply a minor refactoring (restructure and optimize the code / process) and apply some security fixes before re-showing it.
You can use the Import RSS feature in the meanwhile with the following URL:
http://www.agglom.com/fromrss.aspx?rss=[RSS FEED URL]
ie:
http://www.agglom.com/fromrss.aspx?rs...

Hi alex, Hi Skivvy
1. We will add a "delete set" shortcut in the main set page, near the "Edit set" one, in this evening release. Currently the "delete set" link is on the set' edit page. We understand that it may be too difficult to find sometime.
2. We will have fixed the "Untitled" new sets created issue (visible just in the private profile) in this evening release as well.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Enrico Foschi replied on November 25, 2008 18:47 to the question "Erased private message or spam?" in Agglom:
Hi,
a registered user manually contacted many users of our community sending spam messages. We deleted the user, reported his identity details to the authorities and removed all his/her private messages.
You probably received the notification of the private message, but the private message was not there when you tried to open it just because we removed all the messages from this user.
We apologies for any inconvenience.

Thanks mixedbrains :)
Actually "ghlasty" was funny and makes me laugh thinking about it :)
Of course the UI changes are only a little bit of the updates that have been applied with this major release. We will send a newsletter to our registered users tomorrow evening (GMT) time with all the news :)
Thanks for your feedback.
