Al Abut asked a question in SonicLiving on September 29, 2008 21:11:
why are headshots so retardedly HUGE?Stretching out the headshots is a genuinely strange design decision - it's like a herman munster version of myself is staring back at me on the home page.
Oh, and in Firefox 3 and Safari 3 on the mac, clicking on "upload picture" took me to an error page ("no pic selected!") no matter how many times I selected a picture. Turns out it's actually uploading and swapping out the headshot, but dumps me into the error page regardless.
Makes me wonder if this site is in active development?-

Ooo, my dumb ass didn't see the "this solves the problem" link - I think it blended in with the emoticons and commenting stuff at the bottom, so I just kept hunting around the top of the thread where the big fat red stuff is. It seems like the "problem solved!" link kinda wants to live someone around the "you reported this problem" area in the question. "You reported this problem (is it fixed yet?)" seems like the sentence I'd use in real life.
Just a bit of polish niggling on an already clean and very polished interface, that's all! Keep up the good work.

And maybe this is a GetSatisfaction question, but 1) using this forum to both air and track grievances totally rocked and 2) how do I now update this issue to say it was solved? I'm thinking something yahoo answers-ish, where the original question asker can change the status once they're satisfied with a good answer.

save my login info please!I've been bouncing back and forth between Firefox and Safari on Leopard and neither of them will save my login info - I have to enter email and password every time I visit, which adds up over the day!
Am I alone on this?

Can I invite my friends? Are you going to be rolling out an automated invite system anytime soon? I have friends asking already, which I'm sure is a good problem to have for you guys :)

Oh sweet sweetness, look at those speedy replies. You kids rock!
I'm really glad to hear that I can start hacking the widgets for a Twitter-like experience for our customer feedback, I'll get cracking on that right away. We're in private beta as well, a really early stage in fact and are building out the user base a handful at a time, so we're looking to remove as much friction in the feedback process as possible. It'd be invaluable for product development!
And I'd love to get our company in on some white label action, pinging Thor now...

Hey twitter has a custom satisfaction-powered help, no fair!
In more grown up terms, I've got my little company interested in using satisfaction for their help and contact pages but have branding concerns about linking out. So any news about the status, pricing or setup (self-service or one offs?) of the white label service would be great!
Also, a bit of javascript feedback - I entered this comment and then was prompted to create an account, during which it got hung on the confirmation popup and never posted the comment itself (FF 2.0.0.11 on OS X 10.5.1)-
