sftpdrive is set up to with the "reconnect on logon" button checked. Because of the requirements of a warehouse inventory program, Administrator is automatically logged in at bootup. If "things are changed" on the box, then on subsequent reboots, sftpdrive will load at logon but it won't auto reconnect. If I uncheck the "reconnect on logon" button and then recheck it and then reboot the box, sftpdrive will connect.
By "things are changed", I'm referring to many types of setup changes. One thing I was working on yesterday was changing a scheduled event....that seems to "mess up" the sftpdrive auto-reconnection. The anti-virus software being upgraded affected it in the past. There have been others too but, those are the latest two.

A comment on the question "sftpdrive as a service?" in ExpanDrive:
Being able to make ftpdrive start as a service really would be nice. I have a few quirks with the current "auto start when logged in". It works ok most of the time but sometimes, it just doesn't "take" and has to be messed with a few times till it starts autostarting again.
Other than that, this program is working well. – jerryshenk, on October 07, 2008 00:05

alanherd asked a question in ExpanDrive on July 24, 2008 10:09:
sftpdrive as a service? Can sftpdrive be started as a windows service so that drives can be mounted without logging in? This would be useful for automated/unattended backups.
