It's sad that the membership fee structure did not take into account students and those on a limited income. I'm an older woman who is working and putting myself through college. My household doesn't have an extra $250, much less an extra $425. I live in Austin and would really have liked to attend, but your fees were way, way out of my budget. I would have gladly put in volunteer time in return for a lower fee - a "work-study" fee, if you like. But I saw no options for this being offered. It's really too bad that only the well-off can attend.
