Ah. Interesting. I hadn't thought about that as a potential concern but I could see how you might think that.

Yeah, no responsibility to provide support for a community when you've added it as a customer. It's just meant to be a place for customers to gather to share ideas and help each other. And you never know, sooner or later an employee may come along and participate.

Sounds like your keyboard might have gotten on a strange setting. Is it doing this in any other applications? Or in your email client?

Hmmm.... Good question. One issue I can see with this, though, is that we don't reveal email addresses via the API so I'm still not sure how someone would contact a specific other person?

You should probably ask that as a new question and I'll try to get a developer to respond with more insight. :)

Well, the thing is, there's currently no way to "contact" any particular person. You can follow them and they'll be notified via an email notification that you're doing so. But you can just post topics in the community for all to see. It's up to the group of employees and champions to have a process for who responds to what.

You can search for people from your Contacts page in your user account settings. You'll see a "Find People" link there -- however that is Get Satisfaction site-wide, not community specific.

I guess I'm not following you, Matt. The People page doesn't list customers. It lists Employees and Champions. But you'd like to see a page that just lists Champions?
Or are you talking about the user experience somewhere other than the People page?
