Does my fix suggested above work for you? Can you login at http://login.foxmarks.com/account with the username and password you're trying to use? – Eric, on September 15, 2008 21:23

Weird! The migration process from Firefox 2 to 3 has occasional little bumps here and there, so I'm just going to ascribe it to that for now. Let us know if you have any other problems! – Eric, on August 29, 2008 20:16

Well, both were still filled in from before the upgrade. But I re-entered the password and got taken to a box about signing up and went through the process, and hey presto! it worked this time. So I'm flummoxed as to what that was about; why it should need to be re-set, so to speak....
Anyway, happy now that it appears to be done. With three regular computers in different places it's kind of important ...

Not true: "Your username and password appear to be invalid..."When I attempt to sync bookmarks in newly upgraded Firefox running on Windows, I get an error saying first 'verifying account', then 'unauthorised, and clicking on the 'ok' button gives mea box saying "Your username and password appear to be invalid. Please check them". As I have just logged in to the Foxmarks site with the name and password concerned, I'm skeptical that this is the real problem. Any ideas? The FAQ's etc don't seem to quite cut it. I'm wondering if it's an upgrade problem with Firefox?
