PHP example is included, so you can integrate it with your blogging software.

thank you very much for this report. Without it we wouldn't uncover an anomaly in our system.

Yes, this is a problem with our algorithm or more precisely training data on which we use machine learning to learn how to tag. Term "black" was incorrectly associated with completely wrong meaning.

We'll definitely fix this in August release, and I'd like to personally apologize for any inconveniences.

If you find any similar problems, please do not hesitate to report them!

With a new release and improved code we doubled the amount of suggested images. Give it a try and tell us if it's enough now.

I want to say thanks for giving users the gallery... now you can scroll through multiple sets of 9 images... the older ones no longer get removed as more get added. That's nifty.

I really like your ideas and we are thinking about possible implementations. I do have to be honest that they do present some challenges for us so I can't really say if or when they will appear.

I do hope it won't take too long.

Ray, it is doable but it takes some hacking... what I do in Blogger is start another post, get the picture I want there, and then paste the entire text of that post (or go to HTML format and take that text) into my original post. It's fiddly but it works. I would like something where I can say "put the pic where I have my cursor in the blogger post draft instead of at the top" instead.

There is,
we are looking for people willing to code up the integration. We have an API, we have a javascript library, but we can't cover all the CMSes ourselves.

hi again, it's been 2 weeks now since I've contacted WordPress to find out why they banned me, and haven't heard back from them. I guess they're simply too busy!

I have started using Zemanta again occasionally, and thus far no problems. So it must have been something else that caused their banning me. Anyway, all good now.

Likely a scroll function with 20 or 30 more photos to call up. We can't expect software to figure out good pics for us. Likely the descriptions arn't good enough.

Ok, we'll figure out something.

We probably need three things:
- manual commons image selection
- manual flickr image selection
- manual keyword entry for subsequent zemanta search

While this is more manual stuff that we'd like, it seems like a good fallback when our magical matching doesn't work perfectly.

I'll draw a few wireframes for this and see how fast we can put this into production. No timelines yet thou.

A comment on the idea "getting more picture suggestions" in Zemanta:

We can always find a better service, if your too busy. I'd pay for a service that did the job right. With features such as pre-approve and automatic posting, tagging, and other valuable features. Zemanta is currently holding my business back. – SkyWriting, on May 04, 2008 12:32

Just to be clear, after using this for the better part of a month, I do find that sometimes the pictures suggested just make no sense. I've taken to actually starting a new post JUST to stuff keywords into it that i think are likely to get me the pic I want, and then copying the markup over.That's a hack. I really would like to just be able to give the URL of a pic on commons and have it be "zemified" (I know Commons well enough to be able to find good pics a lot... but I hate the way Blogger's markup looks compared to Zemanta's...)
