Search within documents to find sourcesThis could work like a plagiarism checker, or help students cite their sources and prevent plagiarism.
Google users could basically upload a document or picture on to google documents? or a new application, and Google could search for all the different places the text/picture was taken from and maybe even modified, and display the sources for the user.
If you want to make money out of it, you can charge a small fee.-

Cheap, Awesome TechnologyAn infrared camera.
This will enable the use of simple, cheap multi-touch screens, 3-D video, and digital text on virtually any surface!

Simple solutions to MacBook flaws.A matte sheet of plastic for the new MacBook screens.
It would protect the screen and serve to reduce glare.
Also, the keyboard characters could be coated with glow-in-the-dark ink, to make glowing keyboards!
arjungupta89 gave praise in Apple on December 09, 2008 01:06:
The new MacBook is great.I just migrated from a PC to the new MacBook, and I am absolutely loving it.
I wish all the models had the backlit keyboards tho.
And a media card slot.
And a matte screen, or a matte sheet of plastic that could protect my screen and be matte at the same time.
But otherwise, LOVING IT!

sorry to shoot you down like this, but i find it difficult to believe that people will switch from Facebook to Google.
and what about all the people that don't use google?
if this idea is put into effect, there will be a rift between google users and non-google users.
and all google users would want to switch to gSocial Network either because that would mean one more social network to add to MySpace, Facebook, Plaxo, Twitter, the list goes on and on.
you can already share documents and calendars with people thru Google.
putting them up for display for everyone will just enable stalkers more.
I don't really think this is a good idea.
Other than the contacts app sucking (it's true), GMail is fine as an email client, sweet and simple.
Sorry.

Google Contactsthe contacts feature needs a lot of work.
is there a way you could allow us to sync our mobile phones, facebook contact information and picture, computer address book and all IM services like yahoo, MSN, AIM, etc.?
it sounds like a ridiculously tiresome job, but it would make Google the one-stop shop for all my contact needs.
also, the ability to merge contacts would be appreciated.

Profile Syncing!for people who use mozilla firefox on more than one computer or user account.
you can store the profile online, regularly creating backups.
after loging in, you can choose to upload a different firefox profile on your computer.
this will allow everyone to be able to retain their add-ons, themes, bookmarks, history on all their computers easily.

why don't you reduce the amount of redundant buttons on the top of the facebook page?-
