So it must be an "any" search where the tweet matches if your 'track' words show up anywhere in the tweet:
"goat boy flying back to florida. hide your women and sailboats..."

I track "commuter sts", but yesterday I received a message from twitter based on that track that showed that Twitter's pattern matching is a little too greedy:

"@commuter PHL Accident on Chester 22nd and Howard Sts."

I think it depends on how you sent it; when I sent a tweet over 140 chars. via IM only 140 chars. gets resent to those following me, but a link to the rest shows up on the web.

Hmm... Tweetscan works better then how I remember thanks.

Still any chance Twitter.com could implement a better search function; clearly it's possible to do.

With terraminds.com being down this week I've come to realize how much I really depend on it as being the only Twitter search application worth using. It finds just about everything I throw at it *and* it has RSS feeds for the search strings, so I can keep track of any "track" items I may have missed.

Is there any other way to make @terraminds more roboust?

An account name I would sure like to have sure looks inactive, never updated at least, is there some kind of "flag as inactive" process?
