Okay. I have no idea what michael voong meant by his color player but also I think I did a poor job at explaining this idea. What I meant was that a moodbar feature would be a nice feature to have for songbird. Another player, Amarok, already has a 'moodbar', or graphical representation of the song along a spectrum using colors to represent intensity and rhythm, built in. I don't think this idea, however insanely cool it may be, will get any traction but it was worth a shot suggesting it. Search wikipedia for moodbar and you will clearly see what i meant: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moodbar

Show song in a polychromatic Moodbar! Not sure if it is even technically possible but a "mood bar" to display the "mood" of the song would be an incredibly nice eyecandy feature to have. Amarok and a few other programs out there have moodbars for individual songs that are displayed in a polychromatic bar. Obvious parts of the song, such as the chorus or the intro are visually represented on the moodbar by hashes of color lines. This also has the added effect of displaying the intensity of the song as well.
