It was your suggestion that I followed and I thank you so very muchly. I wrote your suggestion down on a piece of paper but couldn't do anything about it until I got back to work on Monday. Its amazing how one simple solution can make such a huge difference in how things work. Thanks again!

I finally got to work and guess what???? Someone (I'm not naming names but I have a sneaking suspicion) changed the playback mode to MANUAL! I changed it backed to normal and it worked. I'm so disappointed that the congregation didn't get to see my wonderful announcements last Sunday but at least I learned something. Thank you all for your wonderful help! I learned something new and that makes me feel good!

By the way, we also have a church logo as our desktop wallpaper although I never thought of it as an "in case of emergency" type thing. I put it there so that it was visible in case people were in the sanctuary when we fired up the computer in the morning.

No problem although it didn't really solve my problem. I DO have what I think of as 2 separate scripts each Sunday - one is looped for the announcements and the other is manually fired for the worship service. The looped announcements is the script that isn't working this week. All of the cues are timed (various times depending on what is in them) and the video cues are set to end at FG. There is a scipt control at the end of the looped announcements. I have checked and rechecked each and every one of the cues, deleted and reinstalled the script control, closed and opened the script, shut down and restarted my computer....nothing worked. What is really bothering me is that nothing was changed as far as what I did that would make them stop working this week as opposed to last week and that now ALL of my previous week's scripts don't work either. I was hoping someone would have an idea of something maybe I had accidentally done or something someone else had done when I wasn't there (another person trained someone else to run MS this Sunday since neither one of us would be there). Thanks for the help...at least now I know how to check for what build I'm using!

There are video cues at the beginning and the end of the announcement script and the rest are "static" cues...some with a single cue only, others with multiple cues (I hope this makes sense - I'm new to the terminology), each timed at various lengths. There is a script control at the end set to loop back to the first cue (video cue to video cue). I generally add music to this looped script to play during the time when the congregation is entering the sanctuary. It is the same every week.
After that is a series of cues which are advanced manually for worship (hymns, prayers, etc.). I save each week's script and open that script to make changes for the next Sunday. When I realized the announcement script for this week would not advance on its own, I opened scripts from previous weeks and NONE of them worked. I hope this is a bit clearer.

I'm not sure what you mean by what "build" I was using. We have version 3.5 if that helps.

What has me frazzled is that nothing, as far as timing, script control, etc. was changed this week unless someone other that me changed it or I accidentally hit a key and it changed something that I wasn't aware of. Any help would be appreciated
