Thank you so much for your interest in Tripware. Thank you for alerting us. Our secure online portal (Portfolio Quick Fill) is not optimized for Google Chrome. If you access https://portfolio.tripware.com through Internet Explorer or Firefox you will be able to login and fill out your profile and preferences. Also, you will be able to download the plugin from the "Download Tripware" link in the upper-right hand corner of the Portfolio screen.

Dean Wright replied on October 19, 2009 16:56 to the question "Points travel" in Tripware:
Ernie, thank you very much for the question/idea. Tripware can store your rewards program number(s) and send this information to the appropriate airline/hotel/car vendor when you book a trip. At this time, Tripware does not have a function to display or redeem rewards points. We are working on a tracking system as well as a Tripware loyalty program. Feel free to follow us on Twitter to be informed when our new features become available: http://www.twitter.com/tripware. Thank you so much for your interest!
Dean Wright replied on October 07, 2009 19:12 to the problem "Confusing times in Schedule section" in Tripware:
Hi Chase,
The arrival and departure times shown in Tripware's Booking Window account for:
a) the time zone of your meeting (i.e. destination airport) and
b) your scheduling preferences of “Time to get to meetings after landing” and “Time to get to airport after meetings”.
Each Microsoft Outlook appointment window has a "Time Zone button" on the menu ribbon where you can set the time zone of the meeting. If that is not set, then the meeting is by default created in the local time zone (although in reality your meeting actually happens from 12:30p to 3:00p Eastern Time) . Since your meeting is in L.A., we subtract 3 hr time zone difference from the meeting time and also subtract the “Time to get to meetings after landing” preference to show the desired arrival time to ensure you make your meeting. The same is done for departure time also.
To change your before/after meeting buffer zone and other preferences, you can access your Travel Portfolio at https://portfolio.tripware.com/tripwa....
However, in the case you presented, flying from the East coast to the West coast for a morning meeting, Tripware will show you flights that get you in the night before, since no flights would get you in at 3:30am.
Thank you for your business,
Dean

A comment on the problem "download doesn't work" in Tripware:
Further, if the above solution does not resolve your problems, it could be that your corporate IT department policies restrict downloads of executables. If this is the case, please contact your company’s system administrator to proceed further. – Dean Wright, on June 25, 2009 18:31

Your feedback indicated that you had problems downloading the Tripware client . You may download the latest Tripware client by accessing your Tripware Portfolio at http://portfolio.tripware.com . Once you have logged in, the “Download Tripware” link appears on the top right corner of the web page. You may alternately download the client at the following link: http://portfolio.tripware.com:8008/wi...
If you have problems downloading through either of the above means, it is most likely your web-browser settings that is preventing the download. If you are using Internet Explorer, you may see a yellow bar appear on the top of your page when you are attempting to download. The yellow bar contains information on how to progress with the download. If you do not see the yellow bar, please click on the “Tools” menu on Internet Explorer and then select “Internet Options”. When the dialog box opens, select the “Security” tab and under “Security level for this zone”, set the level to Medium or Medium-high. These settings will allow downloads, but will prompt you before doing so. Once you have made this change, please access the Download Tripware link again.
If you have any further issues, please feel free to contact us at help@tripware.com or 623-691-7904.

Dean Wright replied on May 21, 2009 17:39 to the idea "Advertising travel related products and services." in Tripware:
Thanks for the idea. Tripware's goal is that business travel should be simply effective. Furthermore, our website is just a gateway to our product. We believe ads distract from our product and goal. If we ever do implement an ad strategy, it would be based on behavior. We would employ data mining and predictive modeling to ensure the ads were needed by, not shoved on, the Traveler.

A comment on the question "Do you have the ability to feed credit card information into expenses?" in Atlantic Dominion Solutions:
Hi Robert, I'm looking for an application that can automatically feed expenses charged on a business traveler's corporate credit card. This would help reduce the manual process of entering in some expenses. – Dean Wright, on March 10, 2009 20:00
