Check out settings.If you dont like spam get out o the kitchen, Twitter is not a private email account and people are going to add followers for commercial interests and adding followers is part of the main focus of twitter.People following you is not a violation of twitter terms.Make twitter what you want it to be,there are a lot of third party software to manage folowers check some out and set up your account to follow who you want and manage followers.If you do it manually you will be spending a lot of time for nothing. Twitter already lost the spam war.Again its not a private email account if you want to be the spam police maybe they will give you a job

Not much you can do but wait.My account was suspended for Suspicious activity .Try to contact Twitter support and ask why it was suspended,Tell the you dont know why and be apologetic.I was using third party software to post adverts and was posting a lot of Affiliate links.Open a new account and start over after 30 days they will reinstate and now you will have 2 accounts.Use another gmail acct.
