Scheduled Maintenance Window - Friday 11-Dec-09 10:00pm ETDear Azigo Customers,
The purpose of this update is to provide you advance notice of a scheduled maintenance window for Aizgo services. We are updating our back-end hardware services to improve load balancing and firewall services. This update is planned for this Friday 11-Dec-09 at 10 PM ET. Due to the nature of this update, Azigo Services will be unavailable for a maximum of 30-60 minutes.
During this planned maintenance window, end users of Reminder Services will not see any reminder logo's appearing in their search results. For those that are using Azigo for information cards, the use of these information cards will be temporarily unavailable.
Thank you - Azigo Support

Hi Pierre - What version of Azigo do you have? To check this, please open Azigo AIR application and go to Help->About Azigo. Also, what information cards do you have?
Another piece that is helpful is to open the Azigo AIR application and go to Help->Debug and in the pop-up window, click 'Get Debug Log". This will copy the debug log onto your desktop. Please locate "/Users/HOME/Desktop/Azigo-debug-log.txt" file (on Desktop) and send it to support team for debugging. You can send us this log by going to our tech support site here:

Hi Leah - Some information that we hope you will find helpful:
- All you need to do is conduct searches from your Firefox browser and the Azigo software will automatically find and highlight BBB accredited business in your search results. For example if you search for roofers in austin in your Firefox browser with Google, you should see BBB logo's displayed next to accredited businesses.
- If you are not finding the logo's to be displayed, please go to the tech support site (http://www.azigo.com/email-support-te..., let us know what searches you are trying and we can follow up with you directly to address any technical issues you may have.
- You can launch the Azigo application by clicking on the Azigo icon that is either on your dock or in your Applications folder. In the Azigo application you can see what cards you have and in this case you should see your BBB card displayed. You can also find links in the Azigo application tool bar on the top of your screen under Help-Documentation to a brief help outline (http://www.azigo.com/help/lite/). You are not required to launch the Azigo application for the reminder service to work however.
- On this page: http://www.azigo.com/icards.html, in addition to other cards to download, you can also find links to short video's that describe how the reminder service works for some of these other cards.
We hope you find this information helpful and please don't hesitate to contact us via the tech support page mentioned above for assistance with any technical issues or questions you may have.
Thank you again for your feedback - Azigo Support

Hi Chaunce - apologies for the inconvenience. One quick request is if you could do a search from the small Google search box in the very upper right corner of your Firefox browser and see if logo's display.
Also, if you could follow up with what cards you have on our support link:

Hi Colleen - A few follow up questions for you:
1. What specific cards do you have?
2. Have you tried to enter your search term in the small Google search box that is in the very upper right of your Firefox chrome? Would be curious if you do that and let us know if the logo's display.

Hi Doug - thank you very much for your thoughtful and thorough feedback. Very much appreciated.
The Azigo RemindMe plug-in needs to be loaded in the browser to support the overlay capability. We have been working with SIMBL technology for this as it enables the loading of the RemindMe plug-in after the browser's start-up (similar to IE). The WebKit or Carbon libraries would not support the RemindMe plug-in needs in this manner (must be bound to MIME type).

Brian Walker replied on September 14, 2009 12:39 to the question "One year later, still no Mac OS X Safari support" in Azigo:
Hi Douglas - Unlike Firefox, the Safari browser does not support a plug-in architecture. As such, in order to support a RemindMe plugin, we would need to use some kind of class-loader hack such as SIMBL [1] or APE [2]. While this is technically feasible, we are concerned that use of these third-party components would present a source of customer frustration (strong potential for bugs and support challenges) for those that use the Azigo Reminder Service. Our aim for Azigo is to provide a service that is robust and easy for non-technicial users. We wish that Apple would support a plug-in architecture in Safari.
In the meantime, we are considering options to either fully support or un-officially support Safari for both traditional information card functionality as well as for Azigo RemindMe. We appreciate your patience in this matter, and will provide you further updates.
Brian Walker replied on September 05, 2009 01:22 to the question "not working" in Azigo:
Hi Doug - In order to help, just have a few clarification questions and suggestions:
1. What Operating System (XP, Vista, OSX) and browser and version are you using?
2. Have you tried to restart your browser and see if the overlay working?
3. What search terms are trying in order to see the AAA icon?
4. Can you open the Azigo Lite application (in your Applications folder) and let us know if you see a AAA card appearing?
Thanks
Brian Walker replied on September 04, 2009 16:24 to the question "Content-type text/xml error?" in Azigo:
Hi Peter - we will look into this issue. Initial feedback is we suspect that this is due to the issuing site supporting SOAP 1.2 and the Azigo icard service only supporting SOAP 1.1. This would likely be the cause of the errors you experienced. We are validating this with some testing and will confirm our findings with you.
We do have a udpate for Azigo icard service to support SOAP 1.2 that we are currently testing and planning for our next Azigo service update in coming weeks.
