I've just updated the scroll bars so that they work with the scroll wheel.

Is there a particular event with enough comments to make this occur?

I'll try updating my firefox to 3.0.10 and see if it happens in there.

Here's a little more information... Presently, we're using Google to do the geocoding and extraction of geocoding data to parse the address search strings.

In the office earlier today Adam pointed out that it is turning Whistler into North Vancouver as well. A mistake I'm sure the Olympics look forward to.

You can play around with it on its own here:

Punch in "4599 Chateau Blvd, Whistler, BC" and you'll see it turn into 4599 Chateau Blvd, North Vancouver, BC, Canada

However, "Whistler, BC" doesn't turn into North Vancouver. Weird aye?

I think I've got it this time. If I empty the cache in Safari 3.2.1 and reload then I see the grey until the page has finished loading. Is it like this for you?

You just need to tweak the map. Shift it a little, or a lot, the sidebar gets new stuff added if there is any.

But andrew's right, down the line it will update itself.

We can't reproduce this.

In the beginning, "human" dates and times were parsed on the server. When we switched it to a javascript implementation we missed the incompatible examples!

Good find B-Mann, the provided examples work now.

I just discussed this with Colin... It was implemented like this in order to provide a kind of confirmation for the place you just made.

So I guess we either have to make that clearer, or confirm in some other way and get on with the rest of the event process.

This issue is about 80% resolved. I can still find a couple instances where an event is missing on the map, however, shifting the map a little pops them up.

This is my number one priority right now.

Will show you your last couple of events... I wouldn't subscribe to that one though, because it is fixed-in-time. The first link will update the start to whenever the feed is fetched.

Only your public events/plans will come through there. We haven't implemented authenticated feeds yet.
