Hi Another Tom,
To remove the Flock Toolbar, right-click on it and go to Customize. Then uncheck "Flock Toolbar". Conversely, you can manually drag and drop the individual icons from the toolbar into the customisation window to get rid of them.
Also, when you say Web Icon, are you referring to the website's symbol that appears next to some favourites? If so, those are baked together with favourites; as a result, there is no way to shut them off.

Err...that's incredibly unusual, and I'm sorry you've experienced it! Here, let's clear your profile and try with a fresh new installation.
1. Back up your Favourites.
2. Back up your Feeds.
3. Find your Profile.
4. Rename your profile to Flock_backup
5. Run Flock.
Let me know how this works.

This is definitely possible, though it's rather roundabout. To do so, you'll have to mess with the guts of Flock; something we don't generally want people doing, for fear of something breaking.
However, not fixing your issue would be silly! As a result, if you could please send me an email at Cameron@flock.com, I will be happy to provide the solution to you privately.

Hmm, alright. I cannot reproduce this on my end, so let's try something else. Could you please uninstall Flash? Then, reinstall it in Flock. While you do this, however, make sure Flock is the only browser active at that time. We have had trouble with Flash downloading onto Flock when Firefox was launched in the past. Better to be safe than sorry.

Thank you for that information! I can not reproduce this issue on my end, however. When you shut down Flock, it should launch in the shape it was shut down in. If you shut it down in fullscreen, it should pop up in fullscreen.
I am using 2.5.5, however. Would you mind downloading the newest version of Flock, please? This may solve your issue. You can grab it from Flock.com.

Good to hear you got it installed, but bad otherwise.
Alright, let's give this a go. This will delete your previous profile and start fresh.
1. Back up your Favourites.
2. Back up your Feeds.
3. Find your Profile.
4. Rename your profile to Flock_backup
5. Uninstall Flock.
6. Install a new installation of Flock.
Let me know how this runs.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Please follow these steps:
1. Find your Profile.
2. Find the file flock-data.sqlite
3. Rename it flock-data-backup.sqlite
4. Restart Flock.

That is very unusual that you gain a corrupted file from flock.com. Could you please check your virus definitions, and make sure that you have not blocked Flock in any way?
In Flock, could you please check the error console and see if you have any errors? If so, could you please paste them here? Error console can be found in Tools >> Error Console.
