Regarding the Auto-Update, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. However, we soon will have an auto update for the newest version of Flock, so the chances of this particular issue being addressed (especially if everything essentially worked fine afterward) are slim to none.
Regarding the Profile Manager, this is not something we can do anything about. We are built upon Firefox code, and Firefox currently does not have this feature. Hence, we can't affect it much. That being said, I'll shift this thread to an Idea thread, in order for people to add support for this feature's inclusion.

Alright, I've never heard of anything like this before. Give this a shot:
1. Back up your Favourites.
2. Back up your Feeds.
3. Find your Profile.
4. Rename your profile to Flock_backup
5. Run Flock.
Let me know how this works!

Hi Tess,
Please follow these steps:
1. Find your Profile.
2. Find the file flock-data.sqlite
3. Rename it flock-data-backup.sqlite
4. Restart Flock.
5. Test out the favourites function.

Tess,
Go to Tools >> Addons, and click Disable for each app. Toolbars you may be able to disable. Some may need to be uninstalled, however.
Also, you are not in the most recent version. Could you please go to Flock.com and install the newest version, version 2.5.5? It may solve your problem.

1. Find your Profile.
2. Find the folder flock-data.sqlite
3. Rename it flock-data-backup.sqlite
4. Restart flock.
5. Try the sidebar.

This seems quite strange to me. To begin, could you please disable any and all addons or toolbars you may have installed? If this solves the problem, re enable them one by one to isolae which one is causing the trouble. Delete the offender.
Also,what OS and version of Flock are you using?

Well, since this is Norton causing this issue, we can't do anything about it. We cannot affect norton's processes.
My suggestion would be to go to Norton's Getsatisfaction page and asking for advice from Norton staff.

Yeah, this appears to be your issue. As you can see, this is a known bug we're currently working on fixing. It will be fixed in a future release. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for the understanding.

1. Find your Profile.
2. Find the file Flock-data.sqlite
3. Rename it Flock-data-backup.sqlite
4. Restart Flock.
5. Forget your Youtube account.
6. COnfigure your youtube account.
