Sebastiaan Deckers replied on December 21, 2009 20:01 to the question "call rooms in website" in Pandion:
AFAIK there are two XMPP specs to implement this.
1. XEP-0081 Jabber MIME Type
Implemented in Pandion 2.5 (and available in 2.6) but this spec is retracted. The support for this spec will be deprecated in future Pandion releases.
2. XEP-0147 XMPP URI Scheme Query Components
Incomplete support in Pandion 2.5 and 2.6.70 and earlier. Pandion simply opens a chat window when clicking on any "xmpp:" link in the browser. This should be fixed in a future Pandion release.

I think pastie.org might be blocked in china. :(
Try emailing me at cbas@pandion.im with the log file as a zipped attachment. Thanks!

If your XMPP server supports NTLM (eg. Openfire on Windows with this module) then you can change Pandion's network settings to use Windows Integrated Authentication. This allows your clients to connect using the Kerberos-based credentials of the Windows user session.
Sebastiaan Deckers replied on December 17, 2009 15:02 to the idea "Put widget js file on CDN" in Get Satisfaction:
Currently the GSFN feedback.js and feedback.css are hosted on and served from AWS S3. AFAIK that's not a CDN but a distributed storage service designed for reliability rather than performance. Have you investigated AWS CloudFront?
From the product page it looks like CloudFront has advantages over S3:
- Various global edges to serve from => lower latency.
- Cheaper pricing (might be wrong on that)
I don't know if CloudFront supports HTTP compression (gzip or deflate). This would be a nice speed-up. Might save you lots of $$$ in bandwidth bills too.
In any case you could already minify the JS and CSS code. This would save about 16% on both files (just did a quick test).
(I have no affiliation with Amazon. Just wondering if the GSFN widget on my site can load faster.)
