First up, I apologise that it's taken a while to get back to you.

Secondly, unfortunately I'm not sure I understand what you mean :(

One possibility is that you haven't seen how to add a multi-stop trip in Dopplr, which would allow you to enter the route as you've described above. To add this sort of trip, go to the Add Trip form and click 'Add another stop on this trip', which will allow you to add more than one destination in the same journey.

Now it sounds like you may have already done that, and the problem is something else.

I had a look into your account but it was hard to tell from that, because it doesn't seem that you've entered the trip as described above.

I think what you might be saying is that you want to define the trip as being a return trip from your hometown to Berlin (or Frankfurt? you mention both as your final destination), with other stops being just points along the way.

But then the other thing I think you might be saying is that you want the trip really shown as a one-way trip, with no return.

You see the confusion? :)

Please let me know if any of the above describes what you're trying to say - and do feel free to describe it in more detail so that we can clear up the confusion.

We're working on a way for you to see all of your trips at once - it's something quite a lot of people ask for, so it's definitely something we'll add. At the moment, the best view of all your trips together is, funnily enough, on the Carbon tab. And as Dan said, you can view your trips in a calendar such as iCal or Google Calendar.

You're right that at the moment we do show multiple stops as 'related trips' rather than one trip to multiple places. However we are considering changing this, alongside a few other important multi-stop trip improvements (e.g. better editing of multi-stop trips).

Glad you're enjoying Dopplr! If you change your home city it will not affect previous trips. But it will change for planned and future trips.

So if right now your home city is Liverpool, and today you change it to Tokyo:
- a trip you took last week will have Liverpool as your home town
- any trips in the future will show Tokyo as your home town.

The issue is caused by the data we get from the geonames.org database – it contains entries for things like ‘seat of government’ as well as city, and so sometimes they get included into our lists. We’re aware of the problem and actively working on it to solve it.

Thanks for your feedback. As I wrote in response to your other post, Dopplr is designed around the way that most people travel - return trips to and from one home town. However we do know that things aren't always as simple as that, so it's great to have input such as yours. We'll keep your ideas in mind for future releases.
