Emily, you bring up an interesting question.

On one hand, we know that you're not always in the perfect frame of mind for these types of tests (maybe we should remind the user not to take it angry or drowsy ;) ) but on the other hand, we don't really want people gaming it if they don't like the answers. The key is that the data is used to inform other people, so if someone tries to get certain industries and answers less than honestly, it ruins the data for others.

If you really want to do it over, you can certainly delete your account by e-mail us at us@path101.com and we'll take care of it. (We're working on a more automatic way to do that), but for now, we don't want to make it too easy to retake to prevent gaming it.

We totally agree that needs a revamp. We also want to make it easier for you to tell us what you do, not just what industry you're in. We're working on it!

Hi Lihsa! We are aware of this issue and we just added a fix that will go live later today. The problem is that your browser window is too small and our registration box is too big. One suggestion would be to maximize the browser. If that still doesn't work, you can click view in your browser and go to full screen.

As you might have figured out, we're in an early alpha, but in a few weeks, we'll fully launch with even more cool features, like a resume analysis and much more information about different career paths. I'm really glad you liked the quiz and can't wait for your feedback on future features. We'll post here when the problems you posted get fixed.

It sure does need a lot of work! We're doing the work now!

What you're looking at is an Alpha version. Some parts are more built out than others. We're doing a major product release in a week. We'll look into that quiz bug. Improved profiles won't be part of the next week, but we'll tackle that soon.

The next release has resume analytics, and will fully launch the career advice tools. So make sure you sign up for our e-mail list on the site for the latest info and thanks for your patience.

Risk management seems like a "subindustry" to us... what would be the high level industry there? Business management? I wonder if risk management is too specific. Would it be wrong to call it "Risk Management & Operations"?

Just realized something. If you automate the second bucket, the fun filling of the bucket, which tons of people liked, essentially disappears. You never get to fill the bucket.

Hmm... we'll have to think about this and see if we get more feedback, because as cheesy at it sounds, people like filling that silly bucket.

Have you seen any other forms of answering that you like? We could put just about any front end on the questions, as the database is built to be flexible to handle that.
